5. Cookies

Cookie is a small piece of data stored on the user's computer by the web browser while browsing a website. Cookies are also called HTTP cookies, web cookies, Internet cookies, browser cookies, or simply cookies. Websites use HTTP cookies to streamline your web experiences. With cookies, sites can keep you signed in, remember your site preferences, and give you locally relevant content. Two types of HTTP cookies are Persistent and  Session Cookies.

Session cookies are used only while navigating a website. Session Cookies are also used by the server to store information about user page activities so users can easily pick up where they left off on the server's pages. By default, web pages really don't have any 'memory'. Cookies tell the server what pages to show the user so the user doesn't have to remember or start navigating the site all over again.

Persistent or Tracking cookies are used for Session management, Authentication and Tracking. Many websites allow the user to customize how information is presented through site layouts or themes. These changes make the site easier to navigate and/or lets the user leave a part of the user's “personality” at the site.

Cookies, in the context of the Internet, are small, sometimes encrypted text files, placed by websites in your browser’s directory, and retrieved next time you visit the site or load another page on the site. These cookies can be from the site, or from third parties such as ad networks.

Many websites use cookies for their core processes, so rejecting those blocks much or all site functionality. Cookies enable smoother, more efficient site use by visitors by storing your site-specific information and preferences such as theme, language setting, privacy preferences, and even user ID and password, so you don’t need to re-enter those each time you visit a new page, or leave and return to the site.

We send cookies to your device in order to uniquely identify your browser and improve the quality of our Service. Our Cookie Policy provides information and opt-out links to help you control the collection of information about you on our Website.

If you wish to allow or disable the cookies which are set by Multivcard, or by any other website, you can do this through your browser settings.

If you so choose, you can limit what cookies end up on your computer or mobile device. Please note, if you choose to disable cookies, some of our Services may not work properly or at all.

Cookies perform essential functions in the modern web.

6. Log Files

As is true of most web sites, the site automatically recognizes the Internet URL from which you access it. We may also log your Internet protocol ("IP") address, Internet service provider, and date/time stamp for system administration, order verification, internal marketing, and system troubleshooting purposes. (An IP address may indicate the location of your computer on the Internet.)

7. Tracking Pixel

Tracking Pixel is a tiny piece of HTML code that allows us to track web traffic, site conversions and gather information about visitors on a website —how they browse, user behavior, what type of ads they click on, bounce rate, open rate and  more on at a site's server level.

We use Tracking Pixel on our website to see which type of products and services clicked more by users. We calculate Bounce rate which refers to the percentage of people who visit a webpage, and leave again without visiting any of the website’s other pages. We also track Open rates which is calculated based on the number of people who received and opened a brand’s email.

We then use the data to inform and improve our Services.

8. Web Beacon

Web Beacons, is an often-transparent graphic image, which are also known as clear GIFs, Web bugs or pixel tags, tracking bug, tag, web tag, page tag, tracking pixel, pixel tag, or 1×1 GIF are often used in combination with cookies. Mainly used by third parties to monitor the activity of users at a website for the purpose of web analytics or page tagging. They can also be used for email tracking.

By Web Beacon technique we track the online behaviour of web users. The identifying information provided by the user's computer typically includes its IP address, the time the request was made, the type of web browser or email reader that made the request, and the existence of cookies previously sent by the host server. The host server can store all of this information, and associate it with a session identifier or tracking token that uniquely marks the interaction.

It allows us to count users who have visited certain pages and to generate statistics about how our site is used.

Web beacons assist in delivering cookies and help us determine whether a web page on the site has been viewed and, if so, how many times. For example, any electronic image on this site, such as an ad banner, can function as a web beacon.
